Pro*C with JAM 7

We are upgrading from JAM 6 to JAM 7. With JAM 6 the Pro*C worked fine over the same Oracle connection. After upgrading it stopped working. It seems that the connection is not seen in the Pro*C part of the software.
Does anyone have any suggestions how to bring this to life again ?
