Oracle Reports 2.5

I have designed several reports that print wonderful on a graphics printer. I need to print them on a "generic Text/Only" windows 95 driver. Reports tries to guess where to line up the fields and text. Is there a way to tell the layout editor that I have a text only printer. It is almost impossible to guess where to put the objects so that they line up correctly.

Or is there another type of report generator that works with Oracle.
