Oracle ODBC and Excel

Does anyone have experience with the ORACLE ODBC driver for 7.2 and Excel 7.0. I have installed the ODBC driver and I'm able to use it with Access 7.0, but when I try to use it with File Source Name in Excel it is unable to locate the Oracle host. I am using SQL*Net normally to connect to the database on a UNIX machine with TCP/IP and that's working OK.
