Oracle talks about using cookies to maintain state. However, Ive read
that coming through a secure server in https, the remote_user
environmental variable contains the userid, which can be accessed via
owa_util.get_cgi_env('REMOTE_USER'). This would seem to be is a more
elegant solution.
Can anyone verify this (that owa_util.get_cgi_env('REMOTE_USER') returns
the userid from a secure server)?
Thanks, Mark
