Dear JDBC users,
The IDS Server 2.5 Beta is now available for download to both domestic and international users. This latest release features several major enhancements to the IDS JDBC Driver:
- Supports Public-Key Secure JDBC. A client JDBC applet can make a
secure connection to the IDS Server without sharing any prior secret.
Check out the related topic "How Safe is Secure JDBC."
- Supports all proxy server protocols so that IDS JDBC Driver can work through (in and out) firewall. These proxy protocols are: SSL Tunneling, SOCKS v5, SOCKS v4.3a, SOCKS v4.0.
- Supports ResultSet Caching to improve the throughput of method ResultSet.next().
