Carl,

We just started working with OEM. We were running 1.3.5 on Win 95 with Oracle 7.3.3.4 on a SUN 30000 and found several problems, one of which sounds familiar to the one you describe. Oracle suggested we upgrade to 1.4 OEM and we just did, but they didn't guarantee that 1.4 fixed all the bugs. Haven't had a chance to test it much since the upgrade, however.

One of my colleagues recently attended the Oracle DBA class and asked the instructor some OEM questions and the impression she got from the instructor was that OEM is still pretty buggy. Have you called Oracle support about this or checked the Oracle support web page?

In any case, I would be interested to know the outcome/solution as we will most likely run into the same problem eventually.

Thanks,
Joe
