Hi,

Has anyone out there managed to get the Oracle Reports server working over the Net using Cartridges.

I am using OWS 3.0, and thus the instructions given, for OWS2.1, are not terribly useful. I know there is nothing wrong with the reports server as I can quite happily run reports across the web using the CGI method.

I have defined a cartridge, called r25ows, with those parameters that i can find, however it appears that OWS3.0 and OWS2.1 are organised in a different manner, so I may well be missing something, but all I get is

        'internal error! please try again'

I am wondering if I have to somehow specify the OWS3.0 listener I am going to use to access it as the instructions say that they assume port 80 is being used. For various reasons this is not practical for us.

Further info:

The reports server, reports themselves and the OWS3.0 are all running on Sun Solaris 2.5.

I am using Netscape 4.0.3 under Windows NT4.0 to access these reports.

Thanks a lot for any advice anyone can offer
