Dev2000 Forms with VB5

Has anyone tried linking D2000 with VB5 successfully? Am I right to say the ODBC driver is required? How do you actually call VB5 from D2000 and vice versa? Any idea how to link between the Oracle 7/8(back-end) with VB (front-end)?
