using Local langeages in Forms 4.5

Hi,
I am using Forms 4.5. I am having a problem while displaying local (arabic) fields in the LOV window. Queries with LPAD and LTRIM which return right justified fields in SQL Plus Window shows centre aligned fields in LOV. I want to display both ENGLISH and Arabic fields. So changing the direction property is illogical, is it not. I am using forms version 4.5.6.5.5. Oracle toolkit version- 2.1.7.7.0 Oracle virtual Graphics System version - 2.1.8.15.0. Oracle tools GUI utilities Version - 1.0.3.3.0.
Can anybody help me please?
