I think both Des2K Handbooks give a good treatment of the generators but certainly not an exhaustive guide.

I know what you want and it has not yet been written. Peter Koletzke's and my book the Des2K Handbook from Oracle Press has a heavy methodological focus so doesn't have a complete treatment of the generators.

Dave Wendelken and Carrie Anderson's Des2K Handbook covers the entire product so also will not be what you want.

Maria Billings book has a great tutorial but won't get you where you want to go either.

Part of the problem is that you are really asking for 2 books: one on data modeling and one on the generators.

For Data Modeling look for a book by Kent Graziano et al called Data Models or something like that. Check Illuminations or the Primary Key for the exact title. You can also look for David Hay's Data Models - Patterns of Thought (or something like that).

For generators, wait. Maybe next year. In any case, the 2.0 generators are a LOT better then anything in 1.x. Your whole strategy of generation will certainly change. Look for the new product by end of 1'st quarter.
