Manugistics is one of the leaders in supply chain software and services. We have an exciting opportunity working out of the Redwood City headquarters of our partner, Oracle Corporation.
Oracle Project Manager.
The person in this position will work with program management, engineering,
relationship management, and business management to coordinate the delivery of
joint solutions with Oracle.
The candidate will reside onsite at Oracle Headquarters in Redwood Shore, CA.
This position maybe filled by a rotational or permanent candidate.
Description
You will act as the focal point for communication and coordination between the
Manugistics engineering teams and select Oracle development teams; Manage
partners expectations, current risks/issues at a management level;
Participate in the definition of the joint solution at the business and
functional specification levels; Provides constructive recommendations for
approaching various issues facing the development team; Works closely with
development group to resolve identified software problems.
Qualifications:
Four year degree, preferably a Masters degree in Logistics, Transportation,
Operations Research or other quantitatively oriented field; 7+ year's
experience in consulting or software development with a minimum of 3 years
project management experience; Course work in software development,
statistics and operations research, programming language and/or data
structures is desirable; Good interpersonal and communication skills
necessary to work effectively with partners and customers both in person and
over the telephone.
