[Quoted] Their choice, really. I downloaded the 200MB zip file, expanded it (620MB!), ran the Setup and am now playing with Designer/2000 1.3. Helps to have a T1 line to download it. I was going to burn the Setup onto CD but now they're offering to send me the Designer/2000 2.0 Beta on CD (because I'm an ODP member), so I probably won't bother. Maybe if you bitch loudly they'll send you a copy. I was surprised to find Des2K trial free for the downloading in the first place -- maybe it had to do with my bitching to them about how developers can't get access to Des2K unless their employer springs for it, and how does Oracle expect to build a talent pool so that employers can feel secure purchasing such an expensive tool (knowing that people exist who know how to use it!). Chicken and the egg thing. The squeaky wheel gets the oil. That's enough cliches for one posting. - djc
