Excel97/MS Query 97 and Oracle 7.4

Has anyone been successful getting ms query97 setup to query Oracle 7.4 tables (via ODBC 2.5 drivers/SQL*Net 2....) ??? I have a mirad of problems connecting.

Access97 works fine against the tables, as does the Oracle test query. Just can't ge MS Query to attach to the tables.

Currently I'm getting an ORA-01017 error....

any help is most appreciated.
