How to get info to appear onscreen?

Hi. After user presses a query button to be put into enter-query mode, since all the items on the screen get cleared when this occurs, I add logic after this, to put a company ID into one of the items that the user is not allowed to input. I go_item, then do a direct assignment to that item, but the value entered for the item doesn't show on the screen. How can I get it to show? I want the user to know that only records associated with a company id can be queried on, so I do want the co. id to show... Thanks! Received on Mon Oct 13 1997 - 00:00:00 CEST
