How do you pass a long data type from Forms to Reports?

I have a form that requires a field of type "long", and I am trying to print it using Developer/2000 Reports. I am using a record group in the form to define the data I want to pass to the report. The "long" field is in that record group. On the report side, I have a query that corresponds to the form record group. The report runs stand alone with no problem, but when I try to run it from the form, I get this error:

REP-0076 Internal failure in product integration.

I can pass data types other than "long" using this method, but it doesn't seem to work for "long". Is there another way to do this? Please email any replies. Thanks very much!!
