Why we need designer 2000

Designer 2000 is a CASE Tool that allows model driven development and provides a repository for information contained in the models that can be used to generate Developer/2000 inputs.

Developer /2000 is a development tool that is used to build the Oracle Forms and Reports.

Without Designer 2000 you would manually translate from your models into the inputs for the development tool.

Designer 2000 lets the machine do some of your work sorta like a chain saw does for cutting wood compared to a hand saw. Cuts rough but gets the initial job done fast.
