Hi there,

I am currently developing in forms 4.5 and have come across this error message.

Compilation error on PRE-COMMIT trigger on form: PL/SQL ERROR 0 at line 1, column 1
PL/SQL Check #20609. Please inform your Oracle Representative

This message has occurred a few times now normally when I am in the PL/SQL Editor and jump from one trigger to another in a different block.

When I return to the first trigger and compile it complains with the above message.

To overcome this I have to delete the trigger and retype the text back in (to the newly created trigger). If I just cut and paste the message still appears. It does not seem to matter which trigger you use.

Has anyone encountered this message and know what it means?, as it gets rather tedious and wastes a lot of time- especially on large triggers.

Currently I am using this product

Developer/2000 -Forms 4.5.7.1.6

If you do could you please reply to me DIRECTLY via EM (below).

Thanks in advance,
