As far as I know, VB (either 4.0 or 5.0) doesn't install the ORACLE ODBC DRIVER automatically: you have to go for it explicitly. All the same, if you have both SQL*Net and ODBC DRIVERS installed, all should work fine. I use both VB4 16 bits and VB5, on the same machine (running WINDOWS 95), with no odd behaviour. Are you experiencing a specific problem or error message?
