Designer2K C++-generator

Hi,

does anybody have experience with using the Designer/2000 C++ object layer generator?
Is it worth using it?

I am trying to use it, but I have many problems creating the C++ code without errors. Especially, every attribute (nearly) must be defined by a domain. And I do not know what the domain types exacly are, because they do not incident with Oracle types (like VARCHAR2,..).

The alternative is to use embedded SQL (Pro*C), but then one would have to code classes for database access on its own.

Any comments on this topic appriciated,
