Yes and Yes. We've been running PVCS to version our app for over a year. The extra step to go into PVCS is not as cumbersome as you might think. There are times when the differencing would be nice, but as you say, we just live with it. Besides, Oracle can't seem to come up with a way (or I don't know of it) for us to get all the code out of a form anyway, which is really what we want to difference.
