Scrollbar action in Forms 1.4W and higher

The new version of forms has a default window scroll action that won't allow the cursor focus to be hidden by scrolling. The problem it solves was a minor annoyance in previous versions.

Unfortunately, IMO, the fix is worse than the problem it solved. Now, you can't use the scroll bar to move the view to an area where the cursor isn't. If you try, the view pops back to the previous viewport automatically.

Does anybody know a way to disable this? We'd rather put up with the old minor annotance than deal with this major hassle. Received on Fri Aug 15 1997 - 00:00:00 CEST
