Both Designer and Developer R2.0 are supposed to support O8 (I suspect V8 is trademarked :-). Des2k is supposed to have an object modeler that will create O8 objects.

Developer's R2.0 level of support is unclear. At the Spring ODTUG conference in an "Ask Oracle" session, the mandate from the crowd was clearly "ship R2.0 without waiting for O8 PL/SQL support; we need the other features NOW".

Time frames are "sometime in the future".
