Hi,

I recognise your name, where from?

I have been developing PL/SQL for a while now, and have just completed a major project (>15,000 lines, 15 Packages) in pure PL/SQL to price a major distributors international catalogue. This has to function in many nations, and therefore the entire application has been globalised. The App has a VB front end.

I have found that the best development tools are:

	vi
	sqlplus

Under Unix. We use IBM's AIX.

They are portable, all unixes have vi, and notepad under windows isn't to difficult to learn. SqlPlus is available for most platforms. Both are cheap (sqlplus is free, and so is vi). And the learning curve is flat for sqlplus, and almsost vertical for vi.

Bryan ;-)
