Executing Stored Procedure form C++

Hello!
I have the need to execute a stored procedure in an Oracle Rel. 7.3 database from within batch and online C++ programs. The stored procedure would run some basic PL/SQL and then send the results back to the calling program. I imagine this is done quite frequently. I would appreciate any advice :)
