I am trying to create an OFA model on the Personal Express Side. The name of the model is FIN.MODEL, and the EQU.VARIABLE name, where the equations are stored, is called .FIN.MODELE. One of my equations contains a series of line items to be added together. But when I try to compile it, using the md.compiler routine, it gives me an error message on that one equation. The text of the error is:

The word + must be followed by an expression.

It is pointing to the plus (+) sign right before the line item we have called RECAP. I have since learned that RECAP is a reserved word in the Express Language, so I suspect this is where the real problem is. My question is twofold:

  1. If RECAP is reservered, why was I allowed to add it as a dimension value in the first place?
  2. I would prefer not to rename the dimension value. Is there a way I can reference RECAP in my formula, making Express realize that I am referring to it as a dimension value rather than the reserverd word?

Thanks.
