Pro*c 2.2 and msvc 2.0

HI! another query from me...
I am trying to use a pro*c routine along with a vc++ interface... for this i am trying to make use of msvc's mfc libraries... I wrote a small pro*c program to connect ping a paticular user...(actually i used c++ instead of c)... [Quoted] [Quoted] this cpp file i, included along with the vc++ project ... It compiled perfectly.. [Quoted] but when i try to run it i get a general protection failure... (windows 95 client...) the library i am making use of is sqllib18.lib provided along with proc22...
has anybody tried this ?.. can this be done?.. if so was she/he successful?..
if so how?..
any help will be much appreciated...
