Officially, Oracle does not support Linux as a platform. Unofficially, I've been told by one of the Oracle techs that they have had Oracle 7x running on Linux.

Practically speaking, it can be done but there's a lot of work, and you will probably need to have a running SCO box around to cadge programs from. Linux makes some assumptions about the presence of specific programs that are on SCO, but not Linux. Uh, I'm assuming you're starting with a SCO version of Oracle.
