I am using my WINDOW95 as a console for Enterprise Manager. I am set it up using user SYS. But I still can't shutdown and startup the database, I have to get into UNIX to use the SEVMGRL to do it. The error message is as follows:
MGR-03524 unable to shutdown db ORA-01031 insufficent privileges
Since I am using the user 'SYS'. I should have all the privileges. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
