Oracle Client Software Manager (OCSM)

Does anyone have experience using the Oracle Client Software Manager (OCSM) with the various Oracle Tools... Oracle*Reports, SQL*Plus, Oracle Financials, etc. If you didn't choose this solution for a shared client software implementation; what software did you choose and why?
