Well I solved the problem myself. I was looking in some of the system tables like
sys.all_tables and was looking to see if there was any difference in the tables I exported form Access and the sample ones. The only difference I found was that my tables were mixed case and the sample tables were all upper case. I did a test and changed the name of one of my Access tables to all upper case and did the same for it's fields and indexes. I then exported the table and it worked. I still had to set the primary keys in Oracle.

So it appears that Oracle upper cases everything by default and with table names and fields being lower case in it's system tables it could not find the tablename.
