Hi everybody,
I would like to know if you could tell me the connect string to enter for an automatic logon on the database using the default username and password of Windows 95 on a client station. I remember that I saw it on in a book but I tried to find it again with no success. Let say I'm loging on to Windows 95 with a username SCOTT and a password TIGER. Then I'm starting my application with an icon by double- clicking it and a dialog box to logon to the database appear. Instead of typing again the same username and password I would like to be able to logon automaticaly whitout seeing that dialog. I know that I can type f45run SCOTT/TIGER_at_ORACLE_TCP to do it but I would like to be able to use the internal variable of Windows 95 to do it. Like this all users could logon to any stations using their default Windows 95 username and password. Thanking you in advance,
Claude Ramazzini
