forms 3.0 master/detail problem

 Hi,

    I'm using forms 3.x and have a problem with the workings of a master   detail block.

    When a user enters a query and presses the [ENTER QUERY] key I am    not getting the details for the first line retrieved by the master    block. Subsequent [UP] and [DOWN] keys will get the details.

   The reason for the first line not getting details is     the join field has not data in it.

   I'd be greatful if anyone can suggest a means of ensuring that   the first query in a master block has the details retrieved at the   same time.
