If you want store in database WINWORD documents, then you can't use this build-ins: you create database column in block and set Item type OLE Container, and specify OLE Class from list. (Addition help for others properties see in online help). That is a simple.

If you want use special logic see ORACLE MAGAZINE March/April 1996 pages 61-68. "OLE and Developer/2000"
