Your application may benefit (both in performance and ease of maintenance) from using CONNECT BY...START WITH to traverse the employee hierarchy. One immediate gain would be to eliminate the need to use the temporary authorization table... Received on Wed Mar 05 1997 - 00:00:00 CET
