I found with standard data entry fields in WebServer 2.x that you had to overload the procedure called by the submit button from the page with the data entry fields. This can get quite ludricous if you have a lot of entry fields, as you must account for each combination. Fun, eh? I've reported it to Thomas Kyte at Oracle.
