There is no comparison of Oracle's Enterprise Manager Performanc Pack to Platinum's DBVision ( and Servision).

DBVision is MUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHHH MORE SOPHISTICATED and has much more capability and functionality.

I view DBVISION, BMC'S PATROL and COUMPUWARE'S ECOTOOLS to be in a much higher catagory of tool sets.

That doesn't mean Oracle's isn't useful. I see it's use and other products such as Platinum's SQL SPY, as for smaller environments where people don't need as much capability. Received on Fri Jan 17 1997 - 00:00:00 CET
