Designer 2000 and SQL Server

I need feedback from anyone using Designer 2000 to develop schemas to deploy against both Oracle and SQL Server.
If we cannot maintain both environments, we will be forced to use the Erwin product. I've been told that Designer 2000 does support SQL Server, but I want proof from the user community that this is in fact reasonable to do.
