Heartland Software Corp. Announces Video Training for Oracle Power Objects v2
Video training format aims at busy developers who need to build their OPO knowledge quickly and inexpensively.

Heartland Software is pleased to announce that Volume 1 of its 4-volume video series "Learning Oracle Power Objects" is available and has begun shipping. Each volume consists of an 85-90 minute video and an instructional workbook. Computer monitor images and code samples in the videos are clear and easy to read. This series is based entirely on Oracle Power Objects version 2.

Volume 1 is introductory. It shows the new developer how to use the development environment and OPO's built-in objects to build a simple application. There are plenty of visual examples and concepts such as object containment are emphasized and explained.

Volume 2 shows the developer how to use Basic with OPO's objects, introduces recordsets, and then builds on these concepts with explanations of master-detail forms and business rule checking. Volume 3 deals with menus, toolbars, database objects and reports. Volume 4 introduces a number of advanced topics, including drag 'n drop, Object Classes, OCX's, Crystal Reports, and Intranet applications.
