The Acrobat Reader has a built-in capability for a table of contents-like structure called "Bookmarks". These show up in an indented, outline representation in a separate window pane and automatically provide hypertext links into the document.

Developer/2000 Release 1.3.1 or higher provides the ability to output the report in PDF, complete with optional bookmarks. See the on-line help and cue-cards for information on how to add bookmarks to a report. Developer/2000 Release 1.3.2 or higher can output a report in HTML format where the optional bookmarks are rendered in a separate HTML frame.
