Can anyone help me ???
I'm currently developing a front end for an oracle database in forms 4.5. I'm trying(or I tried) to use the VBX option (container) to use a tab/folder control with forms 4.5 Aparently ever so often forms crashes, when I'm in the middle of something, I loose hours of work. Specifically when I'm in the properties of the Vbx control (which happens to be Videosoft's VSVBX 4.0) I tried 5.0 but its worse. The folks at videosoft say, that Oracle did not correctly implement their VBX container. And they recommended to stay with version 4.0 Now here is my question. Has anyone successfully implemented a tab/folder VBX using oracle 4.5 under Windows 3.1 ?? I don't care what VBX, just one that will work. I tried Sheridan (no f. good) I tried Videosofts VSVBX.VBX ver 4,5 (no good) I tried Farpoints Tabpro vbx (no f. good) If anyone has any ideas how to implement this I would REALLY appreciate this. I could kind of rigg it in Forms to create some drawn objects etc and when the user clicks on the rectangles it would switch to the stacked canvas. But it really looks bad (but I guess it would be okay if I only had 1 row of tabs. My application will have 3 rows with 4 tabs each, and If I try to do this rigging method, I don't think I can give this to a user. ALso thought of scrapping the entire project using forms 4.5 (it's too much overhead anyway), and would maybe do it in C, get me a tab control(Dll) and a databound grid control, but that would set me back for 4 weeks Again Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks
Jens
