aidev have recently released a number of new metric extensions for their mongoDB plugin. This complements the offerings within release 12.1.0.8.0 and allows for additional monitoring of long running operations, sharding configuration and replication status.

Plugin Overview
By centralizing estate management, the aidev mongoDB monitoring plug-in can facilitate a reduction in cost and complexity within environments that use a combination of mongoDB and Oracle component.

Comprehensive monitoring of performance, configuration, security and availability – over 100 pre-configured metrics are provided out of the box.
Configuration management is enabled by default for your mongoDB estate. Collect, compare and trend configuration at a target or estate level.
Manage many as one by associating related components. Monitor environments through the new ‘Environment At A Glance’ page.
Directly link into the EM system and services framework – configure environment topologies and measure SLA statistics.
Create and execute .js script jobs against your mongoDB environments. Save jobs to the EM job library for reuse and scheduling.
Reporting capability is provided through bundled reports. Extend your reporting through user defined EM reports.
Customize configuration through target groups and systems/services.
Standardize monitoring through the use of monitoring templates.
Support is provided for mongoDB SSL enabled configurations.
Monitor and alert on replication configuration and performance.
Sharding support is provided out of the box. Monitor mongos instances in a consistent manner.
Component control directly from the target UI pages or initiated through the job system, introducing the possibility of bespoke multi-step jobs for full environment shutdown/startup.
Real-time graphical representation of connection and operation statistics across the environment through 'Environment at a Glance'
Supports mongoDB v2.6.5 and above, Oracle EM 12.1.0.4.0 and above (including 13cR1 and R2).
