oracle assigned parallel threads

[Quoted] suppose I use a hint /*+ PARALLEL(8) */ in a query. how can it be verified that oracle actually assigned this number of threads? or maybe less/more? is there any dynamic/system view that contains such information? if so, what is the view name?
