They are selling the "manufacture" of the chips. The design stays inhouse, so does P8 and the already half-designed P9. Makes sense, IMHO: making chips is very expensive in anything other than 3rdworld factories, with all the environment controls mandated in advanced countries. If they retain the design, that's all they really need. After all, who cares what goes into the aquifers in China and India? It's only prawn, vegetable and fruit farms who should be worried and the output of those is sold to idiots outside of China, anyways! :)
