I do, and it seems to do nothing. All I've seen is that it is hidden from me, and strange things like the counter of unread messages be screwy when there are new posts under a hidden subject.

Of course, I have no way of knowing if I am the only one reporting, or if it applies to usenet as well as actual google groups. This seems stupid, useless, and misleading on the part of google groups. I want to believe - can you cite a source for your 2 person reporting requirement?
