There is probably no shortage of Oracle employees in the NYC area willing to talk about linux and Oracle. Not hard to find Oracle information on which versions they will be supporting and for how long on each version etc.

Also not hard to find the linux sessions powerpoints from OOW 2012 if one is willing to search the content catalog ...
