Yes, you are right. Thanks for the clarification. I didn't use 10046 yesterday because it was fairly obvious where the problem was. I followed your advice and there was a ton of logical I/O. BTW, the database is 10.2.0.5 64bit on RH Leenoox, with the April PSU applied.
