Of course I have no idea what I'm talking about, but wondering if this is a use for cube-organized materialized views. I'm guessing that since minimax operators are a type of aggregator, there might be a way to effectively repartition with the mview: http://www.rittmanmead.com/files/COMV_PAPER.pdf
