That one is straight out of the demented minds of disk managers! Spent some time this year trying to make an emc "guru" understand that if they can't switch   a standby san without corrupting one of my prod dbs (yes, it happened...), there is no way in the world I'll let them have even more access to "snap" ANYTHING!
