9i OEM seems like more trouble than it is worth! So, I didn't really bother with it. I haven't investigated the higher versions which is part of the reason for this thread, eg, to see if there really is some valuable stuff out there instead of custom scripts.

I'd go far as to say that I hate Toad! Extremely cluttered and expensive. I do most things from commands run through sqlplus. I also prefer to run basic monitoring on the DB server, keep in mind that I usually only work on Sun and HP-UX systems. Received on Thu Jun 25 2009 - 18:54:47 CDT
