You really should consider looking at the oracle installation documentation it goes over this in detail what must be done and how to do it ...

As root you typically run XHOST ( such as XHOST + ) to allow connections after you have exported the DISPLAY ( as root ).

Then as the oracle user you again export DISPLAY ...

Test running xlock and xeyes as the oracle user after you have done these setup steps ... this is not exactly rocket science here. Received on Mon Apr 20 2009 - 06:59:36 CDT
